Oh ho, there it goes!
-
I read a fascinating book about the mind a little while ago. The Head Trip: The Wheel of Consciousness by Jeff Warren. The segment in it about Lucid Dreaming is pretty amazing.
-
Comparing my own experiences of being semi aware of dreaming and trying to fly, really made a lot more sense in light of what he presented. You can control a dream but it’s so reflective, it mutates like quick silver in you hands reflecting not just what you want, but what you fear, and mostly what you expect.
-
In my case, if you think you can fly it takes some kind of effort. I had to hold my arms out, and raise them almost as though i was lifting myself off the ground. It was not a very effective way to do things and i often skimmed over obstacles, just missing them.
-
I also some how had to work up momentum. I could not just zip off. Like rolling down a hill in a cart but instead up into the air on an invisible rail.
-
In the book Jeff talks about seeing a shadow. If you expect it to be a friend, then it turns into one. If it’s a threat, then whatever it is you find threatening, it will be.
-
It’s like when they say in writing, a thing has to have some kind of internal logic to work. Otherwise it just falls apart.
-
I’ve been trying to get a subscription thing working for the site, added this plugin, so far i’m not getting the emails though….work for anyone else?

Check that you want the messages under the registration form and let me know if it works for in a few days?
